  Horrible customer service. I purchased a novelty lighter here and was told explicitly by the salesperson that all I needed was to refill the butane in it and it would work. I did so and it turns out it was completely broken, spewed butane all over my hands, and would not light. I took it back and explained the situation and they refused to give me a refund because its consignment. I was lied to by the salesperson and screwed into buying broken junk and they didn't care at all. It cost me 20 bucks to get it and another 20 bucks for butane and batteries to get it working just to find out they lied to me and it was broke from the get go. Worst experience I've had in a store in Old Town. I've never been lied to by any other business.

  This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I went in to get an estimate for a very old, beautiful dress I wanted to consign. There was an older woman at the counter chatting with another lady. I waited for about 5 minutes before she finally turns to me and asks “can I help you?” with so much snark. I asked some questions and every answer I got was “I have no idea”, still with so much attitude. All I wanted to know was how long it would take to appraise the dress! One week? Two weeks? Would they call me when it was done? All I could get was “I have no idea,” or other answers that did not relate to my question. Finally she says, “maybe you should try online.” And hands the dress back to me. I honestly felt personally insulted by the encounter, especially after seeing how friendly she was with the woman before me.
