  Great down home market. Small homey feel. Sure they don’t have everything, but who cares, I don’t have to walk a mile through the store to get milk. I don’t have 4000 overwhelming selections either - a Godsend! The have pie from Nebraska in the freezer section that is out of this world. They are like $14 and worth every penny. Recommend picking one up for parties. Meat selection is surprisingly large for a small market. Excellent quality too! I support them as much as possible. Don’t want to lose this Fort Collins fixture!

  It's a small neighborhood grocery store, a vestige of a bygone era. As such, it doesn't carry everything the big supermarkets have. Produce isn't their strong suit. (Though there's a Wednesday evening farm stand to help with that.) You won't find lawn furniture or board games for sale. But they do a great job stocking a variety of essentials in their modest square footage. The meat department is excellent for its size, with decent prices, good quality, and a variety of sausages made in-store. And the people are friendly and helpful. It's likely you won't be able to do *all* your shopping at Beavers. But you can probably do more of it than you'd expect, which means less time spent in the crowd and hassle of the big supermarkets.
